Instructions
For Baking the Artichokes | |

1. | Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). |
2. | In a heavy-bottom skillet over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute. Add the artichoke hearts, parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the artichoke hearts start to brown around the edges, approximately 3 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and Marsala wine, simmer for an additional 3 minutes. Transfer the artichoke mixture to a 2-quart baking dish. |
3. | In the same skillet used for the artichokes, melt the butter. Combine melted butter with breadcrumbs in a small bowl. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the Parmesan breadcrumbs mixture over the artichokes. Bake until the top is golden, around 10 minutes. |
