Ingredients: 8

Delight your tastebuds with these delectable chocolate rosemary biscuits, perfectly paired with a hint of sea salt.

Ingredients

1 34 cups all-purpose flour
14 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons cold and cubed butter
34 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon freshly chopped rosemary

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and generously grease a sheet pan with butter.
    2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Using your fingertips, gently incorporate the cold, cubed butter into the flour mixture until it reaches a texture resembling oatmeal. Incorporate the freshly chopped rosemary.
    3. Create a well in the center of the flour mixture, and gradually pour in the whole milk while mixing. Adjust the amount of milk, as you may not require the entire 3/4 cup. Knead the dough with your fingers until it comes together and is slightly sticky.
    4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and roll it out to a thickness of about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Use a round cutter to create biscuit shapes.
    5. Arrange the shaped biscuits on the prepared greased baking sheet and bake for approximately 12 minutes, or until the tops are beautifully crisp. For an added touch of indulgence, lightly brush the baked biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with a touch of sea salt (optional).
