12 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 cup oil
1 egg, beaten
1 cup all-purpose flour
12 cup milk
34 teaspoon seasoning salt
14 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preparation of Batter-Fried Shrimp

1. Preheat the frying oil to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, combine ½ cup of oil with the beaten egg, and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients except the oil for frying, and stir until the batter is well blended.
3. Dip the peeled and deveined shrimp into the batter to coat them evenly. Carefully drop the shrimp into the hot oil and fry for 30-60 seconds, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown. Remove the fried shrimp with a slotted spoon and allow them to drain on a paper towel.
