Exotic Spice Granola
A crunchy and flavorful granola featuring a blend of exotic spices and nuts, sweetened with a touch of maple syrup.
Ingredients
¼ | cup maple syrup, or to taste |

3 | tablespoons nut butter of choice (I use tahini) |
1 | tablespoon cinnamon, ground |
½ | teaspoon allspice, ground |
2 | teaspoons cardamom, ground |
½ | teaspoon cloves, ground |
1 | tablespoon ginger, ground |
2 | teaspoons turmeric, ground |
¼ | teaspoon salt |
2 | cups rolled oats |
½ | cup cashews (or nuts and/or seeds of choice) |
2 | tablespoons chia seeds |
Instructions
1. | Preheat the oven to 350F. |

2. | In a large bowl, combine the maple syrup, nut butter, and an exotic blend of cinnamon, allspice, cardamom, cloves, ginger, turmeric, and salt. |
3. | Add the chia seeds, followed by the rolled oats and cashews (or your choice of nuts/seeds). |
4. | Spread the mixture on a lined baking tray, ensuring even cooking with a Silpat for better results. Bake until fragrant and golden brown, about 20-30 minutes (or 10-15 minutes in a convection oven). |
5. | Enjoy this exotic spice granola! For optimal crunchiness, store it in an airtight container. |
