A crunchy and flavorful granola featuring a blend of exotic spices and nuts, sweetened with a touch of maple syrup.

Ingredients

¼ cup maple syrup, or to taste
3 tablespoons nut butter of choice (I use tahini)
1 tablespoon cinnamon, ground
½ teaspoon allspice, ground
2 teaspoons cardamom, ground
½ teaspoon cloves, ground
1 tablespoon ginger, ground
2 teaspoons turmeric, ground
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups rolled oats
½ cup cashews (or nuts and/or seeds of choice)
2 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
    2. In a large bowl, combine the maple syrup, nut butter, and an exotic blend of cinnamon, allspice, cardamom, cloves, ginger, turmeric, and salt.
    3. Add the chia seeds, followed by the rolled oats and cashews (or your choice of nuts/seeds).
    4. Spread the mixture on a lined baking tray, ensuring even cooking with a Silpat for better results. Bake until fragrant and golden brown, about 20-30 minutes (or 10-15 minutes in a convection oven).
    5. Enjoy this exotic spice granola! For optimal crunchiness, store it in an airtight container.
