1 | tablespoon dark rum |

1 | medium fresh orange - zest and pulp |
2 | cups all-purpose flour |
1 | teaspoon cinnamon |
1 | teaspoon ground clove |
1 | teaspoon salt |

1 | cup sifted powdered sugar |
2 | tablespoons buttermilk |
Instructions
1. | Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). |

2. | Combine all dry ingredients, excluding the light brown sugar and pecans, in a small bowl. |
3. | Mash the bananas until smooth, resembling liquid using a potato masher. |
4. | Zest the orange, supreme it, and break the segments into bite-sized pieces. |
5. | In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and light brown sugar until light and frothy. Stir in rum, buttermilk, and gradually add oil. Fold in mashed bananas, orange segments, and zest. |
6. | Slowly fold the remaining dry ingredients, excluding pecans, into the wet mixture. Pour the batter into greased loaf pans. |
7. | Sprinkle pecans on top of each loaf and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Adjust baking time for a larger loaf pan. |
8. | Allow the loaves to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan to continue cooling. |
9. | Prepare the glaze by mixing buttermilk with sifted powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over each loaf. |
