Instructions

For the Potato Halves

1. Preheat the barbecue grill.
2. Combine melted butter, cider vinegar, red pepper sauce, and salt in a shallow dish.
3. Cut each russet potato lengthwise into 2 halves, then pat them dry with paper towels.
4. Dip the potato halves into the butter mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Reserve any remaining butter mixture for basting.
5. Cover and grill the potatoes over medium heat for 25 to 35 minutes, brushing occasionally with the butter mixture and turning once or twice, until they are tender.
6. Serve the sizzling potato wedges with a side of blue cheese dressing, if desired.
