Lemon-Garlic Sauteed Shrimp

2 | tablespoons butter |
1 | pinch cayenne pepper (or to taste) or ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (or to taste) |

1 | cup dry white wine |
1 | large lemon, juice of |

1. | Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped garlic and cayenne pepper, saute for 2 minutes until softened. |
2. | Pour in the white wine and bring to a boil over medium heat. Let it simmer uncovered until reduced by at least half. |
3. | Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Drizzle the juice of a lemon over the shrimp. Stir until the shrimp turn translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to overcook them as it will make them tough. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. |
4. | Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the dish with freshly chopped parsley. |
