olive oil
lb feta cheese, crumbled
1 pinch oregano
3-4 garlic cloves, crushed
3 ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 cod fish fillets
salt to taste
pepper to taste
lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • For Baking

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
    2. Grease a baking pan with olive oil and arrange the cod fish fillets in it.
  • Preparation and Baking

    1. In a bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, lemon juice, oregano, olive oil, and crushed garlic cloves. Mix thoroughly.
    2. Divide the tomato mixture evenly over each fish fillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    3. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top of each fillet.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
    5. Check the fish periodically to prevent overcooking.
