A delightful and aromatic bread infused with the flavors of sweet pears and exotic cardamom.

Ingredients

1 ⅔ cups flour
¾ cup sugar
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 ½ cups chopped unpeeled pears (1-2)
½ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon sugar
¼ teaspoon cardamom

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously grease the bottom of a loaf pan.
    2. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the topping, and mix well.
    3. Pour the mixture into the loaf pan. Prepare the topping by mixing the specified ingredients and sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
    4. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely for about 1 hour.
