Savory Asparagus and Ham Frittata
A delightful frittata featuring fresh asparagus, savory ham, and Swiss cheese, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
1 | tablespoon olive oil |

1 | lb fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces |
2 | garlic cloves, minced |
3⁄4 | lb thinly sliced deli ham, chopped |
2 | bunches green onions, finely chopped |
8 | large eggs |
4 | ounces ounces shredded Swiss cheese |
1⁄2 | teaspoon salt |
1⁄4 | teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |
Instructions
1. | Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. |

2. | In a 10" nonstick skillet, heat olive oil. Saute the fresh asparagus, chopped deli ham, minced garlic, and finely chopped green onions over medium-high heat until the asparagus is crisp-tender, approximately 8 minutes. |
3. | In a large bowl, whisk together the large eggs, shredded Swiss cheese, salt, and fresh ground black pepper. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the asparagus mixture and gently stir to evenly distribute. Cook without stirring until the edges are just set, about 2 minutes. |
4. | Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake until the center is set, approximately 30 minutes. Cut the frittata into wedges and serve. |
