A delightful and flavorful pumpkin dip with cream cheese, Mexican seasoning, and a hint of garlic and spice, served in a hollowed-out bread bowl.

1 lb whole round loaf, unsliced (see the description above for suggestions)
34 cup mashed, unseasoned (canned is fine)
12 at room temperature (Neufchatel)
2 tablespoons blend
18 teaspoon to taste
18 teaspoon to taste
13 cup thinly sliced, cut into small pieces
13 cup diced
13 cup diced
1 sliced, drained

Instructions

    1. In a mixing bowl, beat together the mashed pumpkin, room temperature cream cheese, Mexican seasoning blend, garlic powder, and pumpkin pie spice until well combined. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning to your preference. If needed, add salt, pepper, or cayenne pepper for extra zest.
    2. Gently fold in the diced red and green bell peppers, deli ham pieces, and sliced black olives until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
    3. Cover the dip mixture and refrigerate until ready to serve.
    4. To prepare the bread bowl, slice off the top of the unsliced round loaf of bread and carefully hollow out the middle to create a bread bowl and lid. Fill the cavity with the prepared dip.
    5. Serve the savory pumpkin cream cheese dip alongside a selection of fresh vegetables, crackers, and torn bread for dipping.
