1 | medium medium onion, diced |

1 | egg, beaten |
1⁄2 | (7 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1⁄2 | (7 ounce) can tomato sauce |
2 | tablespoons apple cider vinegar |
2 | tablespoons brown sugar |
2 | tablespoons molasses |
1 | cup water |
2 | tablespoons prepared mustard |
Instructions

- Prepare the meat loaf:
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onion, and beaten egg. Mix well before adding the moistened fresh breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and tomato sauce. Gently blend all the ingredients together.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a shallow baking pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven set to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Prepare the sauce mixture:
- In a separate bowl, mix together the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, water, and prepared mustard until well combined.
- Pour the sauce over the meat loaf.
- Continue baking for an additional 1 1/2 hours, remembering to baste the meat loaf occasionally.
