Classic Pepperoni Stromboli

2 | frozen bread dough, thawed |
1⁄2 | cup spaghetti or pizza sauce |
1⁄2 | teaspoon dried oregano |
4 | ounces pepperoni, sliced |
2 | cups mozzarella cheese, shredded |
1⁄3 | cup parmesan cheese, grated |
Instructions
For preparing the stromboli | |

1. | Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). |
2. | After allowing the dough to rise, on a lightly floured surface, roll each loaf into a 20 x 8-inch rectangle. |
3. | Place one rectangle on a greased baking sheet. |
4. | Spread the spaghetti sauce in an 18 x 4-inch strip down the center. Sprinkle with dried oregano, pepperoni slices, and shredded mozzarella cheese. |
5. | Fold the long sides of the dough up towards the filling and set aside. |
6. | Cut the remaining rectangle into three strips. Loosely braid the strips and pinch the ends to seal. Place the braid on top of the cheese, then pinch the braid to the dough to seal. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. |
7. | Bake for 30 minutes or until the stromboli is golden brown. |
