1 puff pastry sheet
2 tablespoons honey-dijon mustard
2 cups Gruyere cheese, grated
1 lb medium thickness asparagus, cleaned and trimmed
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

    1. Prepare the puff pastry sheet by rolling it out to a 16 x 10 inch rectangle. Score a line 1 inch from the edge of the pastry. Brush honey-dijon mustard inside the scored line. Sprinkle grated Gruyere cheese over the mustard. Arrange the cleaned and trimmed asparagus in a single layer over the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Brush the outer inch of the pastry with olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) until the asparagus is tender and the pastry is golden brown, about 15-25 minutes.
