Instructions

- Prepare the potatoes by halving larger ones for a double batch and leaving small ones whole for a regular batch.
- Place all potatoes in a deep pot and cover with water.
- Cover the pot with a lid and bring it to a boil.
- Once boiling, uncover and cook until tender, approximately twelve to fifteen minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the hot pot.
- Add butter, Italian salad dressing mix, milk, and mozzarella cheese according to your desired creaminess and cheesiness.
- Mash the potatoes to your preferred texture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
