Ingredients for the Dough

1 cup warm milk
2 eggs, at room temperature
cup margarine or butter, melted
4 ½ cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup white sugar
2 ½ teaspoons bread machine yeast

Ingredients for the Filling and Frosting

1 cup packed brown sugar
2 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon
cup margarine or butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese
¼ cup butter
1 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preparation of Dough

    1. Place all ingredients in the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the DOUGH cycle and press Start.
    2. In a separate bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and packed brown sugar.
  • Assembling and Baking

    1. Once the dough cycle is completed, transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll it into a 16x24-inch rectangle. Spread the dough with softened margarine or butter and sprinkle it evenly with the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture. Roll up the dough and cut it into 12 rolls. Place the rolls in a lightly greased 9x13-inch pan. Cover and let them rise until almost doubled in size, approximately 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
    2. Bake the rolls for 14-16 minutes until golden brown. While the rolls are baking, beat together the cream cheese, butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Spread the frosting on the warm rolls.
