   Hearty Baked Rotini

| 1 | teaspoon dried basil | 
| 1 | teaspoon garlic powder | 
| 1 | teaspoon oregano | 
| 1 | teaspoon dry crushed red pepper | 
| 8 | ounces rotini pasta, cooked | 
| 3 | cups shredded mozzarella cheese |

| 1. | Begin by cooking the ground beef, onion, and green pepper in a large skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat and return the mixture to the skillet. | 
| 2. | Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, salt, basil, garlic powder, oregano, and crushed red pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil. | 
| 3. | Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. | 
| 4. | Add the cooked rotini pasta and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese into the skillet. Stir until well combined. | 
| 5. | Transfer the mixture into a lightly greased 13x9-inch baking dish. | 
| 6. | Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the dish. | 
| 7. | Bake the rotini at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. |
