8 | ounces ounces rotini pasta, cooked |
3 | cups cups shredded mozzarella cheese |

For Baked Rotini
- Begin by cooking the ground beef, onion, and green pepper in a large skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat and return the mixture to the skillet.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, salt, basil, garlic powder, oregano, and crushed red pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cooked rotini pasta and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese into the skillet. Stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a lightly greased 13x9-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the dish.
- Bake the rotini at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
