A delightful and succulent dish featuring tender chicken breasts glazed with a vibrant orange sauce.

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts (I prefer bone in and skin on)
salt and pepper
cooking oil
½ cup orange juice concentrate
1 cup sour cream

Instructions

    1. Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
    2. In a large sauté pan, heat a couple of tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.
    3. Sear the chicken breasts, skin side down, until a rich golden brown crust forms.
    4. Flip the chicken breasts and continue to brown the other side to perfection.
    5. Transfer the beautifully seared chicken breasts into the slow cooker and pour in the luscious orange juice concentrate without any dilution.
    6. Allow the chicken to cook in the slow cooker for 3 hours on high heat or 5 to 6 hours on low heat, until it is exceptionally tender.
    7. Once done, carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker and keep it warm.
    8. Skim off any excess fat from the sauce using a ladle, then delicately fold in the creamy sour cream to create a velvety texture.
    9. To serve, plate each succulent chicken breast and generously ladle the luscious orange-infused sauce on top for a delightful flavor experience.
