For the Meatloaf
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
2 lbs ground beef
1 1⁄2 cups fresh breadcrumbs or 5 slices of bread, crumbled (oatmeal can be used)
2 eggs
3⁄4 cup water
1⁄3 cup ketchup

Instructions

  • For the Meatloaf

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    2. In a large bowl, combine the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, ground beef, breadcrumbs (or crumbled bread), eggs, water, and ketchup.
    3. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf on a cookie sheet or a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    4. Bake uncovered for 1 hour, or until the center feels firm when pressed.
    5. Allow the meatloaf to stand for 10 minutes before serving.
