Ingredients

2 French baguettes (short bread sticks or 1 long)
125 g butter
60 g hot salami, finely chopped
1 tablespoon sun-dried tomato pesto
2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
14 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  • Preparation

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
    2. In a bowl, combine the butter, finely chopped hot salami, sun-dried tomato pesto, chopped parsley, and grated parmesan cheese. Mix well.
    3. Slice the French baguettes into approximately 1.5cm slices, ensuring not to cut all the way through.
    4. Spread the salami butter mixture in between the slices of the baguette, then wrap the baguettes in foil.
    5. Bake the wrapped baguettes in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
    6. Alternatively, if preferred, place the foil-wrapped baguettes on a heated barbecue grill for about 20 minutes, turning them often until heated through.
