3 lbs ground chuck
4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 onion, finely chopped
8 ounces monterey jack pepper cheese, sliced
7 hamburger buns

Instructions

1. Begin by preparing the grill for cooking on high heat.
2. In a large bowl, combine chopped jalapeno peppers, minced garlic, finely chopped onion, and ground chuck.
3. Divide the beef mixture into approximately 7 equal portions.
4. Take each portion and place a thick slice of pepper jack cheese in the center, similar in size to a thick butter pat. Shape the mixture into patties.
5. Oil the grill grate lightly with a brush.
6. Grill the hamburger patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until reaching your preferred level of doneness.
