For the whipped potatoes

2 lbs potatoes
1 cup milk (or more as desired)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • For preparing the potatoes

    1. Peel the potatoes, if desired.
    2. Cut the potatoes into small pieces, roughly 1-1½ inches in size and of uniform size.
    3. Place the potatoes into a large Zip'n Steam™ bag, seal the bag securely.
    4. Pat the potatoes into a single layer in the bag and place it in the microwave.
    5. Microwave on full power for 7½ minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and easily smash when pressed.
    6. If necessary, microwave for additional 30-second intervals until all the potatoes are tender.
    7. Allow the bag to stand for 1 minute before handling.
